Chocolate that Loves the Planet

Now that you’ve eaten our delicious chocolate, let’s put that seeded wrapper to good use! Our seed papers are easy to plant and will germinate if looked after properly. In nature, the natural processes of the earth mixed with ground and rain water makes it easy to germinate plants. In a pot, making sure the paper is wet and moist will ensure the seed will grow to a be a happy plant! With all of the ways you can plant, make sure these important steps are done.

  1. Place the seed paper on top of your container that has been filled with soil and compost.
Paper can be torn into smaller pieces, or use the same paper for many containers!

2. Water really well.

3. Place the container somewhere warm and in contact with the sun.

4. Keep the paper moist at all times!

5. Once the plant has outgrown the container, place into a larger container or
simply plant outside in your garden.

6. Here are all of the fun and easy ways you can use our paper to start your garden!

Make It Easy

If you don’t have the time to plant it, it is still easy to grow! Leave it in a bowl with a shallow amount of water, just enough to cover the paper packaging, and place it in a window with plenty of sunlight. Wildflowers will begin to grow!

Recycle

Recycle your old and dated (or brand new!) ice cube tray to start planting the seeds! Very easy and cheap to start with your home garden!

Repurpose

Try using old toilet paper or paper towel tubes for an easy way start gardening. Nothing better than repurposing! Simply fold the bottom of the tube in, and you are set!

Redecorate

Want a fun way to spruce a chain link fence? Perhaps you’re a teacher on a budget, a community center representative, or simply want to make your front gate more appealing! By using recycled drink cartons filled with potting soil, any unappealing chain link fence can become a garden wall! Just make sure the cartons have drainage holes in the bottom.

Regrow

Probably the easiest way to grow is by getting a ziplock bag, putting the seeded paper in the bag and ensuring it is moist, and taping it to the side of your well lit window. Watch it grow yourself, and witness nature sprout!
